Edge Magazine Features LucasArts

The main feature in the September edition (Issue 166) of the UK gaming magazine Edge is an article about the history of LucasArts games, including Grim Fandango. The magazine includes an interesting front cover:
And as can be seen on our Grim Fandango 2 page, the magazine also mentions the now known to be false rumour that Tim Burton is working on a Grim Fandango movie. Thanks to kitmit for letting us know and providing the scans.

Yeah I've got the magazine. Sadly there's hardly anything about the old games in it, and i's largely about LucasArts taking steps to reclaim the throne of innovation and whatnot. Decent article, but not very relevant.
There's just a small box about Grim Fandango, plus various other old LEC games. Nothing notable at all really.
The art is sure nice though. I bet lots of people picked it up based on seeing that cover alone. ;D
if we'd always been looking back, you'd never have had Sam and Max or Full Throttle or Grim Fandango, you'd never have had those advances in that genre. The lesson from those days is to keep pushing forward
This was in the magisine meaning there will be no sequals
